Disclaimer & Conditions of Hire Agreement
It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring this inflatable equipment and/or machines to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the equipment. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using the equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.
Please note: We reserve the right to cancel any job if you do not reply or confirm to any of our text, emails or phonecalls when seeking additional information in relation to your booking - such as confirmation on delivery days / times and collection times - or the surface to ensure suitability.
Keys terms of hire include:
- We can only deliver inflatables in the appropriate weather conditions. Heavy rain and winds above 24MPH are extreme hazardous conditions and as such, we will not be able to deliver any inflatables outdoors.
- We WILL NOT set up on a road, cul-de-sac or other ground that does not clearly belong to the individual who has booked the inflatable. this includes public grass parks etc.
- The 25% booking fee is not a deposit and is non refundable. We will transfer this payment to another date of your choosing subject to availability.
- It is your responsibility to ensure all equipment hired from us is returned in a clean fashion as delivered - no sweets, no face paint and strictly no silly strong to be on any equipment. A cleaning bill of £25 will be charged on collection.
- Cancellation charge - in the event of bad weather (high wind speeds and flood rain), we do not charge any cancellation fee. However, if no advance warning is made by you, the customer AND the job is confirmed by us with email confirmation sent and delivery is made by our team, then we reserve the right to invoice and charge a minimum of 50% of the hire charge, including delivery costs.
- Please note, ANY discount code can not be used on items with a value of less than £60, nor can they be used against existing package deals as discount is already applied to them.
- ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE ON DELIVERY FOR PRIVATE BOOKINGS. NO EXCEPTION WILL BE MADE AND WE WILL NOT SET UP ANY INFLATABLES UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE.
- For any corporate, community, school or council work carried out, invoices must be paid within 30days in accordance to OUR booking conditions. We reserve the right to charge a DAILY fee for any overdue payments at a rate of 2.5% of the original booking fee. (ie, if it is £100 owed, we will charge £2.50 per day overdue until paid)
- No food or drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the inflatable. (Please note if the Inflatable is collected in a dirty condition then the person hiring it may incur a cleaning charge of £45.00)
- Any cost incurred to repair a damaged castle/slide will be paid in full by the person responsible for the hire (Minimum £45.00 charge)
- We reserve the right to request payment in part or in full at any stage prior to your booking taking place.
Other T&C's
- The hirer MUST ensure all equipment is supervised at ALL times by a responsible person aged 18 or over, preferably the hirer and NOT under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Bouncemania Inflatables and their staff accept no liability for any damage, accidents or injury that may occur whilst the equipment is in your care.
- The maximum user height and maximum numbers that can use the inflatables at any one time are listed on the manufacturers label; please ensure these regulations are adhered to, for the safety of the users.
- All equipment must be used / operated in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations.
- Our staff will setup the equipment taking into account ALL safety aspects and therefore the equipment MUST NOT be moved. Photographs may be taken as evidence correct setups and the inflatable should still be inflated when the staff return to collect unless exceptions overrule (see point 14 & 15)
- No food, drink or gum is to be allowed onto the equipment at any time. No drinking glasses or bottles to be used near the equipment at any time.
- Do not allow individuals with a medical condition that puts them at risk of injury to use the equipment (i.e. brittle bone disease or temporary injuries etc), this also includes persons with a history of neck / back problems. Any individuals with epilepsy or reactions to flashing lights should NOT use the disco domes and be cautious when a DJ is providing entertainment.
- No person(s) shall be permitted to use any of the equipment whilst under the influence of alcohol, drugs & / or any other intoxicating substance.
- No BBQ's, smoking or animals near any of the equipment at any time.
- Please ensure all equipment is kept in a clean and presentable condition. Any spillages MUST be cleaned and dried as soon as they occur - if the equipment has to be professionally cleaned before the next hire you will incur a cleaning charge of £50.
- The hirer must ensure that shoes (especially high heels) and all sharp objects including badges, jewellery {i.e. earrings, necklaces, watches) and spectacles are REMOVED prior to use to avoid injury. Any damage caused by ignoring these rules may result in the hirer having to pay an additional fee for replacement or repair.
- No party poppers, coloured streamers, confetti or silly string is to be used near the equipment as they can permanently stain.
- Individuals MUST NOT push, collide, fight, no flips, somersaults or jumping from the top of slides or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others. STRICTLY NO hanging, sitting or climbing on the walls of inflatables.
- The front step of the inflatable is to help users on and off and MUST NOT be bounced or played on.
- In the event of light rain it is advised to keep the inflatable running, rain covers should help keep the bouncing area dry. In heavy rain, leave the equipment inflated, everyone MUST BE REMOVED and not re-enter until the rain stops and the inflatable is dried (any wetness and bubbling can be dried with a towel). The inflatable should NOT be turned off in the event of rain as the air pressure will stop water entering. Turn off immediately if there is thunder and lightning.
- If wind speeds (including gusts) are forecast over 24mph the inflatable will be cancelled as per regulations. Inflatables that have been setup are to be turned off if wind speeds increase and the inflatable looks unsafe (Beaufort Wind Scale 5 — small trees sway in the wind). Staff will mark wind speeds on setup (measured using anemometer) in the relevant box below if winds are forecast to be borderline as buildings, trees etc. will provide protection / shelter. If staff measure wind speeds at 24mph or higher on setup the booking will be cancelled for user safety.
- Always ensure inflatables are not overcrowded and operated as per the instructions and user numbers / ages as per the label. Limit numbers according to age and height of children.
- Avoid large and small children from using the inflatable at the same time. Where adult use is permitted, adults and children are not permitted to participate on the same equipment at the same time.
- DO NOT allow users to be on the inflatable during inflation / deflation, the blower should never be turned off when the equipment is in use as this could cause injury and / or suffocation.
- Ensure the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times. Ensure no persons go near the blower or electrics at the rear of the inflatable.
- The hirer is responsible for the safe keeping of any equipment provided by us. Any damage deemed to be malicious or through misuse will be charged against the hirer with a minimum charge of E50. Any theft will result in the hirer being charged the full price for a replacement or any items missing on collection will incur the full replacement cost, this includes any accessories which accompany the equipment i.e. blowers, leads, mats
- Sumo Suits — (Juniors 5-11 year olds), two persons at any one time, helmets and neck braces to be worn at all times (gloves also with junior suits). Always ensure there is a clear 4ft round the outside of the mat and no wrestling should take part outside the confines of the mat.
- Bungee Run —two cords attached for adults, one for kids. Nobody under 8 is permitted to use the equipment, ensure harnesses are fully secured, metal buckle is to the back and the carabiner is tightened. No holding or pulling along the walls or pulling the users under tension.
- Gladiator Duel — suitable for 8 years and over, head guards to be worn at all times, no wrestling on the bed or jumping on each other, enter and exit using the front step only.
- Inflatable Slides — ensure user heights and numbers are adhered to as per label, no crowding at the top, do not climb on the walls, no somersaults or jumping down the slide, ALWAYS use the slide feet first on your back.
- Obstacle Course — ensure user heights and numbers are adhered to as per label. No gathering at the top of the slide.
- All inflatables will be supplied with a blower, fly lead, extension lead (if required), mats, pegs / sandbags, specialist equipment (if required)
- Only our staff are authorised to setup and collect equipment. Under NO circumstances should any of the equipment be handed over to anyone other than Belfast Bounce / Bouncemania staff. All staff members will be uniformed, if you are unsure please call us on 07513995125 or 07729431205
